FBNI works hard to provide a full array of programming to residents and visitors throughout the summer including:

GospelFest, the most popular outdoor Gospel event in New England.

Waterfront Performing Arts Series, provides access to Boston's finest performing arts groups including opera, classical music, ballet, modern dance and musical theater.

The Boston Urban Music Festival, a tremendously popular event that brings in more than 30,000 youth. Focusing on positive, peace promoting messages, the event features local and nationally acclaimed artists.

Caliente, a celebration of Latin music, song and dance. Over three years the event has had an average attendance of 20,000 from the Greater Boston Latino Community.

(ähts): The Boston Arts Festival, is the grand finale of our summer arts programming. Showcasing 60-juried artists, activities for children, and performances, by esteemed organizations such as the Boston Ballet and the Boston Lyric Opera make (ähts) a festival that attracts of 50,000.

Collectively these programs attracted over 160,000 people last year many of whom could not otherwise have afforded to see such a prestigious line-up of performances. All of our special events are free and open to visitors and residents alike.
